The 2025 Prize is open for submissions from 10 February – 1 May 2025.

Here is a checklist for eligibility

  • Entries must be collections of poetry, no fewer than 40 pages involving a nature, environmental or ecological theme
  • Self-published collections are not eligible
  • Entries must be submitted by publishers
  • The entry period is 10 February – 1 May 2025
  • Publishers must submit 4 hard copies of each collection & 1 digital
  • Publishers may submit up to 6 collections
  • Collections must have been published between 1 June 2024 and 1 May 2025 for eligibility – if not yet published then hard copy manuscripts will be accepted along with the digital copy

This year there are five prizes:
First Prize will win £5,000.
Four additional finalists will receive £1,000 each.
